Stan Schultz is a graduate of Averett University in Danville, Virginia. He has lived and worked in Tidewater, Virginia for more than 30 years.

Stan Schultz participated in a 2002 to 2003 study by Mark Wiranowski with the Harvard University fellowship for Emerging Leaders in the Community and Economic Development.
